Why does Rooost exist?

For our first ever blog post, we will kick off with "why Rooost exists?". Whilst Rooost is a new business, it is built with years of project and team management experience. The agile team includes project and team managers who have spent hours (sometimes days) sourcing, booking and managing workforce accommodation within a business and for clients. We know all the issues and challenges that come with it too! Like last minute cancellations; complaints, noisy and disruptive tenants – through to vehicle leasing, school listings and healthcare provision for C-suite and senior management team.
In short, Rooost came about from the realisation that too much time is spent (and wasted), dealing with accommodation-related tasks that impact the efficiency of your business.
But more than this, we have learned that an effective, enjoyable and productive day for your team needs a balance between work, relaxation and sleep (our three pillars). If one isn’t right, the others don’t work as well as they should and it all starts to come crashing down.
This is where Rooost plays the part of ensuring your workforce not only has the right home-from-home experience to ‘rest at night’ – but they are able enjoy their downtime too. This all supports them to be productive at work!
How does Rooost do this?
We do all the legwork – saving you hours of finding, shortlisting and selecting suitable accommodation for your workforce. Our dedicated workflow and negotiated rates means we can get savings on accommodation that you can find. We remove the administration and reduce the stress when booking and, importantly, managing your workforce accommodation – whether that is short and long-term accommodation; C-suite to tradespeople. All we need from you are:
- The location
- The number of contractors
- A description of the accommodation type
- Any other information on the booking(s)
- The budget
… and we’ll take everything from there.
No project is too big or too small. Every project gets the same attention to detail – whether it is for one or hundreds; nightly; weekly or monthly; long-term packages; C-suite or tradespeople.
